KORCULA TOWN - the main town on the island, counting about 3000 inhabitants, numerous monuments, cafes, restaurants, galleries, cinemas etc... Korcula is the administrative center of the area (more about Korcula Town)

LUMBARDA - a little fisherman's village 10min from the town of Korcula, Lumbarda is very well known for its finest vineyards and production of unique white wine called 'GRK'. Lumbarda is a popular spot for its sandy beaches (Vela Przina and Bilin Zal)

VRNIK - tiny inhabited island in the Korcula archipelago, easy reachable by taxi-boats from Korcula main harbor. It is well known for it's deep stone quarries dating back to the Roman era. Vrnik is worth to go and visit for its blue and clear waters

ZRNOVO - 5min ride from Korcula town, Zrnovo village is known for its old cypresses, terraced vineyards, stone houses, churches and bell towers. A nice 20min walk from Korcula Old Town or Zrnovska Banja to Zrnovo. On the southern side of the Island Orlandusa, Rasohatica and Pavja Luka are within walking distance from Zrnovo (up to 40 min) - and offer very nice chance for a swim in clear and clean waters

RACISCE - 20min ride from Korcula town, is a fisherman's village of about 500 inhabitants. The bays Vaja and Samograd, with its prehistoric cave, are both attractive for swimming and sunbathing. For the trackers there is a nice walk route from Racisce and Kneze to the village of Pupnat

PUPNAT - the oldest settlement on the island dating back to Illyrian time. Well preserved in its architecture Pupnat is probably best known for it's bay of Pupnatska Luka - one of the most beautiful pebble beaches on the Island

CARA - 20 min ride from Vela Luka, in the middle of the Island, Cara is known for its white wine Posip. Nearby bays of Zavalatica and Zitna are good swimming locations with a couple of restaurants with a nice sea-view

SMOKVICA - 20min ride from Vela Luka, Smokvica has a long tradition in wine production known for Posip and Rukatac. Nearby bays of Brna and Istruga are among the largest bays on the Island on the southern coast

BLATO is one of the largest villages on the Island, 7km away from Vela Luka. It is an industrial and agricultural site in the middle of the island. Well known for it's olive oil production and sword dance Kumpanjija. Bays of Prigradica, Prizba and Grscica are good places to visit in close vicinity
